Exeter City Centre Treatment Centre

We have been treating patients from our lovely Georgian house in central Exeter for over 20 years. Northernhay Clinic is set on the Ground Floor of the property looking out to a beautiful walled garden. We pride ourselves on providing a top quality patient experience from the moment you enter our premises. You will be looked after by a small and very experienced team. We

From simple to complex, we have it covered

Our team of HCPC registered Podiatrists have a longstanding expertise diagnosing the cause of your foot, ankle, heel and limb condition. We specialise in bio-mechanical assessment of all foot and lower limb deficiencies and sports injuries. We treat all the family from simple chiropody to complex mechanical pain. Whatever the issue with your feet, we are here to help.

We use the latest technologies

We use cutting edge technology and believe that communication with our patients is essential. We utilise specialist software designed to achieve the most accurate diagnosis of the way you walk and run. We monitor this information together with your medical history and will keep an eye on the progress you are making.

Beyond the Foot

We think beyond the foot. The spine and pelvis influence the foot and vice versa. Our podiatrists will always assess your overall alignment and posture whilst considering the position of your spine, pelvis, knees, ankles and feet. We will closely examine and assess your natural standing, walking and running patterns. To improve the alignment of your foot and ankle or lower limb with your spine and pelvis our podiatrists may prescribe custom made foot orthoses.

Diabetic and Complex Arthritic foot care

Patients with Diabetes or Arthritis should have at least annual foot assessments to monitor their condition. Northernhay Clinic can offer a full service including neurological and vascular assessment, chiropody treatments as well as custom foot orthoses. With our customised treatment plans we aim to keep you safe and on your feet.

Treatment of ingrown toenails include a number of different options. Only if the problem is severe, we recommend surgical management. Northernhay Clinic provides a one stop nail surgery service under local anaesthetics. Surgery will be carried out by one of our highly trained and experienced HCPC registered Podiatrists. We believe in curative treatment when possible and aim at minimal discomfort after surgery. We also offer verruca, wart and corn removal services.
